Pylon Sign FAQ
Do I need planning permission for a pylon sign in the EU?
In most EU countries, freestanding signs above a certain height require planning permission from the local authority. Requirements vary by country and municipality. We can provide CE-certified structural drawings to support your application.
What foundation is required for a pylon sign?
We provide detailed foundation drawings with every pylon sign order, calculated to EN 1991-1-4 wind load standard. Foundation depth and width depend on soil bearing capacity and sign height. Typically a 600–1200 mm diameter concrete caisson.
How are pylon signs shipped?
Pylon signs are disassembled and shipped on flat-bed trailers or in steel-reinforced crates. Installation hardware, anchor bolts, and wiring diagrams are included. A qualified local electrician connects the mains power.
Can I add my logo/design to the cabinet?
Yes. Cabinets are printed with your brand graphics using UV-stable direct print or applied vinyl. Digital pylons support content management via Wi-Fi or 4G.
